NiCr-CuNi(constantan)wayar termokopel (Jenis-E)

Termokopel NiCr- CuNi (jenis E) juga dinamakan termokopel NiCr- Constantan. Komposisi kimia utama kaki positif NiCr (EP) ialah Ni: Cr=90:10; kaki negatif Constantan (EN) ialah Cu: Ni= 55%: 45%. Walaupun EN, TN, dan JN semuanya dipanggil Constantan, EN dan TN tidak memberikan keluk keluaran EMF yang sama seperti JN. EN dan TN boleh bertukar, tetapi mereka tidak boleh ditukar dengan JN. Julat suhu operasi termokopel jenis E ialah -200-900℃。
Termokopel Jenis E mempunyai output EMF terbesar dan kepekaan tertinggi, jadi ia sesuai untuk mengukur perubahan suhu yang kecil. Ia juga mempunyai kestabilan yang baik dalam julat suhu rendah sehingga 300 ℃, dan sifat anti-karat yang baik dalam suasana kelembapan. Ia disyorkan untuk atmosfera pengoksidaan atau lengai, tetapi tidak boleh digunakan secara langsung dalam mengurangkan atmosfera dan atmosfera dengan gas sulfur.
